Founded by percussionist, educator and businessman Vic Firth, The Vic Firth Company has been setting the standard in the industry since its inception in 1963, and has been the industry leader in design, innovation, technology and education for the drumstick and mallet market. In addition, Vic was the first to start packaging drumsticks in paper matchboxes which have now become the industry standard, eliminating millions of plastic bags from landfills every year.
